and John Falcon announced recently the opening
of Salon Novo at 651 First Street West, Suite
A in
the Carneros Village Lofts. They have dedicated
themselves to creating "Sonoma's first
truly eco-friendly
hair
and beauty salon and will be using zero
VOC products where possible.
Andria
Falcon with 14 years experience in the profession
in San Francisco before moving recently to
Sonoma leads of team of San Francisco-trained
stylists including Daniel Freeman and Sofia
Palumbo. Also
joining the team is Sonoma manicurist Gigi
Worth, who'll offer natural nails and spray
tanning. Esthetician
Amber Larson will also be offering Novo's
"Brow Bar Fridays."
"We're
dedicated to maintaining high standards in
education and training as well as keeping
harsh
chemicals out of our client's salon experience.
We carry an extensive line of ammonia-free
hair color, plus
chemical-free and even organic
hair care products. We're so green we're
looking into using biodegradable
towels," said John Falcon.
In
keeping with its "green" environment,
Novo offers a refill system for hair care
products and will offer five percent discounts
to customers who ride their bicycles to their
